I am a bilingual, seasoned Chief Executive and corporate director with experience in both industry and electricity markets (including utilities and regulation). I am able to see the big picture, create new organizations, and identify the weak spots in existing ones. I have over 30 years experience in the steel industry. During that time, I have at various times been responsible for:
- Project management,
- Operations management,
- Environmental management,
- Energy management,
- Government relations,
- Creating a management system to coordinate safety, environment and operations,
- International trade, and
- Strategic planning.
I finished my career in industry as CEO of a steel company with nine operating locations in Canada and 12 distribution warehouse across Canada and the U.S.
